About
I own platforms end to end — the code, the cloud, and the AI systems that run on them.

I'm a staff software engineer with 7+ years building and operating production backends across LatAm and the US. Consulting since 2024 through Software Sushi and freelance engagements — the pattern is the same: walk into a platform, make it observable, then make it fast and cheap, with an audit trail.
Before any of that, I listen. I want to understand the business the system serves — what hurts, what it costs you, and what “done” looks like to the people paying for it — because a technically perfect answer to the wrong question is still the wrong answer. Then I take the outcome end to end: requirement to production and afterwards, not a ticket handed back.
I don't sell a list of technologies. I sell ownership with receipts: git history, Cost Explorer, eval corpora, and published case studies. Master's in Software Engineering (Cloud, Data & IT Management) from the University of Seville; bachelor's from INTEC.
How I work
- Measure first. Cost Explorer, pg_stat_statements, eval corpora — then change one thing and verify.
- Shrink the workload before the hardware. Rightsizing a bloated system only buys a more expensive problem.
- Leave an audit trail. Every cut and every pipeline has a reason that survives the next engineer.
- Agents as a team, not a demo. I run several AI coding agents in parallel, each on its own branch, and review their work before it merges.
